I don't believe no one has been brave enough to visit and click a few links to just be nosey.

The type of B.S. that will never happen, but we can dream...EXCEPT that gets you nowhere in the real world.

Don't get caught in the headlights

Don't be a rabbit caught in the glare of the gurus headlights as they speed past in their Lambourginis (if thats how you spell it!) apologies to the makers, beautiful cars they are but no good for the roads around here I'm afraid.

In this neck of the woods, you'd be best off with a four-wheel drive Toyota truck that can take a lot of bashing and still start in two foot of snow!

Anyway, I digress, again!

Is Life Really Like Making Pancakes?

I hope you got loads of cards from all those unknown admirers on Valentine's Day...

Yeah, me too! Not a one.

Anyway, we made pancakes instead, a much better use of our time.

I impressed my son by my prowess with the frying pan and flipping all the pancakes that we made together.

He sprinkled far too much sugar on them and then too much lemon juice, but hey, its only once a year and he is only six.

He carefully carried each pancake, freshly made, which he had rolled, and duly presented it to his Dad with much pride in his achievement.

We should make pancakes more often really because they are so versatile, but we don't. I wonder why.

Can we not be bothered to beat together flour, egg and milk/water until its smooth?
BUY A MIX AND ADD WATER THEN!

Do we waste our time frying off spoonfuls of batter until a golden pancake emerges?
BUY A PANCAKE/CREPE MAKER THEN!

Do we not enjoy that lip smacking yumminess of too much sugar and lemon juice dripping down our chins?
GET A LIFE!

Of course we do! Its fun and tastes good. All for half an hour spent having a laugh in the kitchen!

Just that bit of time and my lad thought it was great, they had to watch their teacher do it all last week. Now he knows he can do it too and thats worth much more than an egg and the other bits.

If we put nothing in, why do we expect to get something out?!
